The Fitchburg Agriculture Route (FAR) consists of a 4.5 mile segment of the Badger State Trail, as it runs through predominately agricultural lands in the City's southern half. The FAR runs from just north of Lacy Road to the City's southern border. Along the FAR are various agricultural enterprises and historical/cultural sites that serve as a vital component of the City's history, identity, and economy.
The City is currently in the process of developing a FAR "Concept Analysis", outlining a potential future land use vision for the FAR area. Below are various links to FAR Concept Analysis activities and documents.
