Construction Updates

Construction Update June 30, 2020 - UPDATED

  • We are several weeks into the Stage 3 construction.  The road is being excavated for the new road base, storm sewer is being installed along the new westbound roadway.
  • The east half of Seminole Highway is nearing completion, with an anticipated traffic switch to occur July 8 to begin construction on the west half of Seminole Highway.
  • Power and communication utilities are completing their final relocations and connections.
  • The southern bridge abutment and wall for the Badger State Trail overpass is beginning to take shape.  
  • There will be an overnight closure of Seminole Highway south of McKee to install a deep storm sewer pipe and manhole. Date to be Determined  It is anticipated it will possibly occur one night the week of July 7 or July 13 beginning at 6 pm.  Seminole Highway will be open to traffic by 6 am the following morning.  Stay tuned for updates.

Badger State Trail to Close Beginning April 27, 2020

The construction of the new Badger State Trail Overpass will begin on April 27.  Due to the proximity of construction equipment to the path and cyclists, a detour will go into effect to safely navigate around the construction.  (Click Here) to see more details.
