Drum Circle with Elmore Lawson

Come to the Fitchburg Library and participate in a drum circle with Elmore Lawson! Learn the basics of drumming and how to participate in a drum circle, including rhythms, chants, call and response, and solo phrases. We will focus on songs from African, South American, Asian, and Native American cultures. The playful, expressive, and energetic environment is perfect for all levels of experience! Weather permitting performances will be outdoors. Please feel free to bring a blanket to sit on.
