[ARCHIVED] Recent Burglaries in Western Hills and Jamestown Neighborhoods

The City of Fitchburg Police Department and the City of Madison Police Department are investigating several recent burglaries and attempted burglaries in the are of the Western Hills and Jamestown neighborhoods. The suspect(s) have kicked in doors or opened windows to gain entry. It appears that in some instances the suspect(s) are targeting homes that appear as though the residents are out of town.

We need your help to keep an eye out in these neighborhoods. If you see any suspicious activity or hear anything out of the ordinary call the Fitchburg Police Department (608)270-4300 or 911. Make sure your doors and windows are locked and keep exterior lights on. If you are going to be out of town you can request a vacation watch from the Fitchburg Police Department.
