*UPDATE* ARRESTS MADE
On Monday, November 16th, officers from the Fitchburg Police Department identified three suspects in the November 13th armed robbery incident and took them into custody.
A twenty year old male from Madison was taken to the Dane County Jail on charges of party to a crime - armed robbery, and party to a crime first - degree recklessly endangering safety. Two sixteen year-olds from Madison were taken to the Dane County Juvenile Reception Center on similar charges.
The investigation is on-going.
ORIGINAL RELEASE
On November 13, 2015, at about 6:50PM the Fitchburg Police Department responded to the 5600 block of King James Court for a report of an armed robbery. The investigation revealed that the adult male victim was attacked by three black males. One of which was armed with a hammer type object. The victim was struck on the head with the object multiple times. He was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of property.
