  1. Opportunity for Public Input on Update to Comprehensive Plan

    October 24, 2019, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ City Hall - Council Chambers

    Decisions that are being made now by the City of Fitchburg will influence the character of the community for years to come. The City needs your input to help guide these decisions on topics including land use, housing, economic development, recreation, transportation, and natural resources. The City will use your input to help inform the 2020 update to its Comprehensive Plan, the document that will guide decision-making in the City for the next decade. Residents are encouraged to attend meetings that will focus on their neighborhoods, although all meetings are open to the public and interested parties are welcome to attend any or all meetings. Please see the website link to identify the neighborhoods on which the meetings will focus.

  2. 12th Annual Great Halloween Hunt

    October 26, 2019, 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM @ Library

    It's the 12th Annual Great Halloween Hunt at the Fitchburg Library! Activities include a scavenger hunt from 6-8:00 p.m.; 2 magic shows, a balloon twister, crafts & activities, treats & prizes, spooky photos and more! A movie screening of "The Incredibles," rated PG, will be shown from 8-9:30 p.m.

    Trick or Treat! Children should be dressed with some reflective clothing and be reminded of these safety tips: -Stay with a friend, group or parent -Only trick or treat at homes with porch lights on -Never go into a stranger's home or vehicle Have a fun and safe Halloween!
