Blood is a perishable product that can only come from volunteer blood donors. With someone in the United States needing blood every two seconds, blood products must be constantly replenished, according to the Red Cross. "There's no better feeling than knowing that your blood donation may give someone a second chance at life."
Give back to the community with the Fitchburg Community blood drive. Save time and reserve an appointment for August 8th. Make your appointment by visiting redcross.org and use sponsor code "Fitchburg".
The short amount of time it takes to donate can mean a lifetime to a patient with a serious medical condition. If you are an eligible donor, please join us in giving blood.
