2009 Comprehensive Plan
Fitchburg's first Comprehensive Plan was adopted March 24, 2009.
The 2009 Comprehensive Plan contains data and background information on the numerous resources and services of the community, including land use, economic development, natural, cultural and agricultural resources, housing, public facilities, utilities and transportation. The plan also identifies the goals, objectives and policies that will help determine the city’s use of resources and guide decisions for future development and preservation in the City of Fitchburg.

A CD of the Comprehensive Plan may be purchased for $10 or a printed color copy bound for $90 from the Planning Department.
