Facilities

Gorman Wayside is on an 18-acre public site to the north of the old Town Hall building and the parks maintenance garage. The park contains a veteran’s memorial, picnic table, monument, and landscaping. The park provides a nice view of rural Fitchburg. To the north is a 2.3-acre oak savanna that is one of Fitchburg’s last remaining remnant savannas. There is on-site parking available.
