INCIDENT DETAILS:
On Friday, November 9, at 11:15 p.m., Fitchburg police officers responded to the 2900 block of Index Road for a report of a single gun shot fired. Witnesses reported three black males had been arguing near the street and one of the males fired a single shot from a handgun. Officers located evidence to confirm a shot had been fired. Witnesses indicated at least one of the involved males fled the area in the vehicle described below.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION(S):
Witnesses were only able to describe the three involved subjects as black males.
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION:
An involved vehicle was described as an older black Buick sedan, with a temporary registration plate.
INJURIES/PROPERTY DAMAGE:
No injuries or property damage have been reported as a result of this incident.
ARRESTS/CASE STATUS:
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains open.
