On Wednesday, January 30th, 2019, at approximately 11:53 p.m. the Fitchburg Police Department responded to the intersection of Equity Ln and Unity Ln for a report of a burglary in progress of a Habitat for Humanity construction trailer. The suspects were observed leaving the scene in a vehicle which was located by a responding Fitchburg Police Officer. A traffic stop was conducted and the two suspects were taken into custody. Located in the vehicle were numerous construction tools belonging to Habitat for Humanity valued at over $1000. The Town of Madison Police Department assisted with the traffic stop.
Suspect #1: Andrew R. Lambert, DOB 11/12/1988, M/W was arrested for Burglary and Possession of Burglarious Tools
Suspect #2: Alyssa A. Clayton, DOB 7/23/1993, F/W was arrested for Burglary, Possession of Burglarious Tools, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
