Stabbing
On Sunday, October 11, at 4:43 a.m., a Fitchburg Officer was flagged down by a citizen on Fish Hatchery Road near the intersection of High Ridge Trail. The citizen was reporting their friend was injured. The officer discovered the victim had multiple, life-threatening stab wounds. The officer was able to provide the victim with first aid until the victim was transported to a local hospital. The victim is in stable condition.
Fitchburg Officers were able to locate the scene of the stabbing. The scene was located in the 3500 block of Breckenridge Ct.
Officers located the suspect still on scene. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was booked into the Dane County Jail, pending charges of Reckless Endangering Safety-1st degree and Disorderly Conduct while armed.
The investigation is still on-going.
