The City of Fitchburg, in partnership with a student group in UW-Madison’s Graduate Program in Urban and Regional Planning (URPL), has begun the process of developing a “North Fish Hatchery Road Neighborhood Center Initial Development Study” to examine existing conditions and potential ways to address various needs in the North Fish Hatchery Road neighborhood in the City of Fitchburg. Please understand that this a very preliminary study, and the City has made no commitment towards developing any sort of neighborhood center.
City staff and URPL students will be holding a study public open house and workshop beginning at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2301 Traceway Dr. (Fairways Apt. Office), Fitchburg. The purpose of the open house and workshop is to gather feedback from interested parties on study development.
