The Fitchburg Police Department is seeking your assistance to identify a burglary suspect and a vehicle believed to be driven by him. Anyone who believes they may have seen the male or the vehicle is asked to contact the Fitchburg Police Department.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY AND BURGLARY
On Thursday, November 12th, at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers from the Fitchburg Police Department responded to 2900 block of Rothmore Lane for an attempted burglary. A white male in his late teens/early twenties rang the front doorbell before attempting to break in to a door on the rear of the residence.
Approximately fifteen minutes later, homeowners in the 5700 block of Kilkenny Place, less than half a mile away from the address on Rothmore, interrupted a burglary in progress. Shortly after entering their residence, the homeowners noticed a dark color station wagon fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed. They discovered someone had forced entry to a basement door and taken several items. Several items taken from the residence were located where the car had been parked on the street.
SUSPECT & VEHICLE DESCRIPTON
The suspect is only described as a white male in his late teens/early twenties.
The vehicle description is a dark colored station wagon.

The Fitchburg Police Department is requesting anyone who believes they may have seen the male or the vehicle in the area on the evening of November 12th, or anyone who has any other knowledge of the suspect or crime, to contact the Fitchburg Police Department at 608-270-4300.
