On Sunday, May 8th, 2016 at approximately 2:17AM, officers from the Fitchburg Police Department responded to the 2300 block of High Ridge Trail for a report of a subject with a gun.
The investigation revealed that the victim was standing outside of their front door when they were approached by a suspect who demanded to be let inside the victim’s residence. When the victim refused the suspect entry into the residence, the suspect pulled out a gun, held it to the victim’s head, punched the victim, and fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’-6’2” with a slender build, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, white shirt, black shorts, and a mask covering his face.

The Town of Madison Police Department’s K9 Unit, along with City of Madison Police Department, assisted with the investigation.
