On January 25, 2017, at approximately 1:42 a.m., officers from the Fitchburg Police Department were sent to a report of a burglary in progress at the Verizon Wireless Store at 6313 Mckee Road. When officers arrived they located a window that had been smashed in.
Officers checked the building and noted no one was inside. A K9 track was completed and it was determined that the suspects left in a vehicle.
There appears to have been two suspects that entered the store and stole multiple electronic items. The suspects are described as;
A black male wearing an orange coat or sweatshirt with a hood and blue jeans
A black male wearing a dark colored vest over a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans
Both males appear to be of average height and weight and in their 20’s.
There is no further information available for release at this time.
