The City of Fitchburg’s Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee has spent the past two years developing an “Agriculture Plan” to help maintain and enhance agriculture in the City into the foreseeable future. A first draft of the Plan has been recently completed.
As such, the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee will be holding a public open house and workshop at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, City Council Chambers, Fitchburg City Hall, 5520 Lacy Road, Fitchburg, to present and gather feedback on the draft Plan. The open house will begin at 6:30 p.m., with a formal presentation to begin at 7:00 p.m. You are receiving this notice as City records indicate your property is currently in one of the City’s agricultural zoning districts. Your attendance at the open house/workshop is encouraged.
