CARPC - Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grant

Grant Information

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded the Capital Region (Madison metropolitan area) a $2 million, three-year Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grant (SCRPG) in the fall of 2010. Twenty seven governmental and private entities came together as the Capital Region Sustainable Communities (CRSC) Consortium to successfully compete for these grant funds. The Capital Area Regional Planning Commission (CARPC) is the grant administrator and coordinates grant activities The City of Fitchburg is a member of the CRSC and was the lead municipality in overseeing development of the CRSC Catalytic Stormwater Management Study.
